How can exposure to the sun be harmful?
We partly know the risks (and the list is long): sunburn, allergies, skin aging, reduction in sun exposure, cancers... But we sometimes ignore the reasons, although they are crucial. UVB-UVA radiation as well as high-energy blue light that we receive during prolonged exposure cause real skin damage. UVB penetrates little beyond the epidermis while UVA penetrates deeper. Their damage is therefore less visible and detected in the longer term. Located in the extension of UVA, HEV blue light causes deep skin cellular damage in the long term by attacking all cellular constituents: lipids, proteins, DNA.How are your solar products eco-designed?
