MeliLax is indicated for the treatment of constipation, including in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (as in the case of irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures and haemorrhoids. The product promotes bowel movement and has a protective effect, thereby reducing the discomfort, irritation and inflammation caused by constipation. MeliLax is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Features

MeliLax promotes bowel movement while also providing a protective effect that soothes the rectal mucosa. The dual action of MeliLax is provided by PROMELAXIN®, a mix of nectar and honeydew honeys specifically selected and processed for their monosaccharide, polysaccharide and melanoidin content, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction from Aloe vera and Mallow.MeliLax has an evacuative effect, promoting a bowel movement.In addition, thanks to its mucus-like properties and viscosity, MeliLax protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of stools.These special properties, combined with its antioxidant action, help the product protect and soothe the mucosa.

Directions

1) Open the micro-enema by removing the cannula safety cover. Hold the white ring above the squeeze bottle. Using your other hand, bend the cannula cover until it breaks free from the ring. Remove the cannula cover.
2) Apply several drops of the product in the perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum.
3) Fully depress the micro-enema; after application, keep it depressed until the cannula is completelyremoved to avoid drawing the product back.
Dosage Adult - 1 x 10 g micro-enema as needed.In cases of obstinate constipation,apply 2 consecutive doses.
Dosage Children aged 3-12: 1 x 5 g micro-enema as needed. In cases of obstinate constipation, apply 2 consecutive doses. Children aged 1-3: 1 x 5 g micro-enema as needed. Infants aged 0-1: Half of one 5 g micro-enema as needed.

Ingredients

Functional ingredients 73.2%Promelaxin® complex of honeys and polysaccharides from Aloe Vera and Common Mallow titrated in: monosaccharides ≥ 50%, polysaccharides (molecular weight > 20,000 dalton) ≥ 0.3%.Also contains: hydroglycerin mixture, lemon juice, lavender essential oil.

Warnings

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity or allergies to one or more components. In the case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other illnesses.The micro-enema is designed for single use, and as such, must not be reused.
